Attending an adult day care center two to five times per week helps bring meaning and purpose to the lives of our members. It helps them make new friends and create new memories.
Our core program hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Adult day health participants can sign up to attend from two to five days per week.
Respite for caregivers
Those taking advantage of free or reduced fare transportation to and from our Lynden adult day health program, can count on their loved one being away from home from approximately 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is your time to attend to your own health and wellness, run errands, work or even spend time with friends and family members.
For an additional fee, your loved one may be able to participate in an extended day program, which operates from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The extended day program is available to all. To participate, families privately pay for this value-added service. They also are required to provide their own transportation, dropping off members in Lynden at 8:30 a.m. and picking them up at 4 p.m. each day.
How much does adult day health cost? For a flat-rate fee of $75, your loved one can attend adult day health’s core program – 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. That rate includes transportation for qualifying members, a nutritious meal, therapeutic recreation programs and health and wellness support and assessments.
For an additional $12 per day, your loved one can participate in the extended day program, which adds 3.5 hours of enriching activities to their day.
