Scheduled Program Hours: Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with extended hours available.
Eligibility: Members must be over the age of 18. Individuals with chronic health conditions such as stroke, diabetes, heart disease, depression or memory loss are encouraged to inquire.
At Northwest Adult Day Health & Wellness Center our care team and activity coordinators focus on providing a variety of opportunities that are designed to bring enjoyment and meaning to each day. These activities also help members socialize, make new friends, share past memories and make new ones.

- Listening to music
- Exercise programs
- Nutritious hot lunch
- Special interest groups and educational presentations
- Arts and crafts projects
- Pet visits
- Puzzles, cards and board games
- Spirituality and friendship groups
Members arrive at Northwest Adult Day Health and start their day with coffee and conversation with friends. Exercise and small group activities begin shortly thereafter. A hot, nutritious lunch is served followed by an afternoon of special programs.
Group Activities: Northwest Adult Day Health staff gather information from members and their families about current and past hobbies. Daily activities are then developed to be meaningful for all members.
Scheduled activities include guest speakers, live music, art classes, holiday programs, travel programs, health education and group games.
Exercise: Our staff provides a range of group activities designed to build strength and enhance each person’s abilities. Exercise and training sessions include balance, range of motion, walking, fall risk screening and fall prevention.
Nursing Care: Individual care needs are identified for each member. Our on-site care team works to ensure the overall health & well-being of members. We assist with nursing care tasks such as administering medication, wound care, diabetes care and prescribed therapies.
Dementia Care: Northwest Adult Day Health & Wellness Center attends to the specific needs of people in various stages of memory loss. Dementia care activities include pet therapy, reminisce groups, storytelling and music. All staff have expert knowledge about how to care for people with memory loss – they work to ensure each member’s needs are responded to with compassion and care.

Payments: A variety of payment options are available for adult day health members. They include:
- Private pay
- Long term care policies
- Medicaid eligible applicants may attend with approval from COPES (Community Options Program Entry System) or DSHS (Department of Social and Health Services) case managers
- Eligible veterans and their dependents, as determined by the Veterans Administration
- Respite Care Program, administered through the Northwest Regional Council Area Agency on Aging, provides funding for eligible caregivers
